Chris Horlock founded K2 Sports Massage in early 2007, going onsite to some of the largest Blue Chip companies in London.
Our company is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance. Our team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals. We are dedicated to promoting health in the workplace. The service that we offer at K2 Sports Massage, along with free nutritional and exercise advice passed onto you, to keep you healthy, surpasses any other sports massage provider, be that onsite or in a health club.

Our therapists are trained to the highest sports massage standards recognised in the UK. They are members of the Register of Exercise Professionals, http://www.exerciseregister.org/ who are responsible for overseeing the standards of its members. Chris has gone on to become highly qualified and experienced in Sports Massage Therapy.
The story of K2 is about more than one man and sports massage. Chris had played rugby up to a high standard in Swansea, up to youth level. He began his career in Finance after graduating with a BA (hons) in Business. Chris has always had an entrepreneurial spirit, and noticed a gap in the market whilst working in Finance for a large blue chip corporation. He noticed that after speaking to friends and work colleagues, that surprisingly few large organisation’s have any type of Corporate Wellness scheme onsite, and at the same time he noticed that the general workforce has to work harder and longer.

Chris always knew the benefits from having a regular sports massage whilst playing rugby. After working in Finance, he decided to take the risk, and set up K2 Sports Massage to bring these benefits he experienced to the corporate environment.
Most people are familiar with K2 as being a famous mountain. What most people are not familiar with is that, although Mount Everest is the largest mountain, K2 is renowned as being far more difficult to climb. The statistics say it all. Around 2000 people have conquered Mt. Everest, whereas only 300 people have conquered K2.
In any business, to be the best, takes hard work and dedication. Chris has a dream to bring onsite Sports Massage Therapy to the mainstream in all medium and large companies. It is our aim at K2 to eventually conquer the Corporate Wellness market and be the market leader. And so, in 2007 K2 Sports Massage is born.
